2008 JOINT INTEGRATED AIR AND MISSILE DEFENSE SUMMIT SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

The annual JIAMD Summits are planned and executed by a group of volunteers from industry and the Government. The funds required to make the Summit happen are taken from attendee registration fees and donations made by sponsoring companies and organizations. Any companies or organizations who are interested in sponsoring the 2008 JIAMD Summit may contact the Director of the Ways & Means Group in the Summit Working Group, Mary Anne Thomas, at 256-313-7870 or thomasma@knology.net to get further information and find out how to start the sponsorship process. The following description lists the donation levels and benefits derived from sponsorship.

  • PLATINUM LEVEL – $2,500 DONATION
    • One seat at the Summit Dinner VIP table
    • Four passes to attend a private reception with VIPs before the Summit Dinner
    • A featured spot in the Summit Brochure with paragraph on your company’s / organization’s capabilities
    • Large logo in all Summit brochure listings and on the Summit website
    • Your company / organization may provide a corporate brochure or giveaway to be included in the Summit attendee bags


  • GOLD LEVEL - $1,000 DONATION
    • Two passes to attend a private reception with VIPs before the Summit Dinner
    • A preferred location for your corporate / organization table at the Summit Dinner
    • Logo in all Summit brochure listings and on the Summit website


  • SILVER LEVEL - $500 DONATION
    • One pass to attend a private reception with VIPs before the Summit Dinner
    • Four seats at the Summit Dinner
    • Logo in all Summit brochure listings and on the Summit website

"The DoD Public Affairs Office has determined that, for purposes of accepting a gift of reduced or free attendance, the event is a widely attended gathering pursuant to 5 CFR 2635.204(g). This determination is not a DoD endorsement of the event nor approval for widespread attendance. If individual DoD Component commands or organizations determine that the attendance by particular personnel is in DoD interest, those personnel may accept the gift of free or reduced attendance. As other exceptions under 5 CFR 2635.204 may allow the acceptance of gifts, DoD personnel are urged to consult their Ethics Counselor."
